Chapelle is located thirty minutes south of Bergerac (and its airport). It can be approached by easy motorway connections via Bergerac or Bordeaux . (Driving time is approx. 9 hours from the channel ports.) It is situated on a small ridge in a rural location, surrounded by plum orchards, woodlands and meadows. At the beginning of April, the house is surrounded by white blossom.

It is within easy reach of Castillones (a ‘bastide' town) and Cancon to the south. The region of ‘ Lot et Garonne ' provides opportunities to explore the valley of the Lot and Dordogne and the other major rivers.
